Pear, Prosciutto & Smoked Blue Cheese Crostini

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz Statesboro Smoked Blue Cheese, sliced

  • 1 crusty loaf (like sourdough or rustic Italian bread), sliced

  • Olive oil, for brushing

  • 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced and lightly sautéed or grilled

  • 6–8 slices prosciutto

  • Fresh arugula leaves

  • Optional: drizzle of honey or balsamic glaze

Instructions:

  1. Lightly brush both sides of each bread slice with olive oil. Toast in a pan or oven until golden and crisp.

  2. Arrange a layer of Statesboro Smoked Blue Cheese over each toast while warm so it slightly softens.

  3. Top with a few slices of warm pear and a ribbon of prosciutto.

  4. Finish with a couple of arugula leaves for a peppery bite.

  5. Optional: Drizzle with honey or balsamic glaze just before serving.
